Arjun’s got no birthday blues

The year 2008 has been one of miracles, as it made superstars out of actors we had almost forgotten about. While Akshay Kumar dominates the resurgence list, Arjun Rampal comes a close second.

Greece has given this Greek god more reason to smile as they have put aside their usual gods for this day – his 36th birthday – and taken to worshipping him. And why not, afterall Arjun has proved that not only is a good-looker but now a good actor as well.

His first stroke of luck (apart from the very entry into Bollywood) recently was with Om Shanti Om. Farah Khan established herself in the A-league of directors by extracting a creditable performance out of Arjun who was known as a stiff actor.

Arjun’s 36th year has been better than any ever before as he is riding the success horse thanks to the superhit film Rock On  where he played the talented but emotional guitarist – Joe.
